Look what Rabbits did to Australia back in the day. Not enough Dingos to take care of them and there were literally thousands / acre (the rabbits not the Dingos). Globalism rocks. I wouldn't have such cool mini's from companies like to play with without it. There just needs to be more safety measures in place to keep the little critters away. |

Its definitely not an Earwing. It has two prongs that stick straight up from the end of its tail. And the back half of its body is not as massive as the front half. I'm not sure if I will bait it since there are hordes of insects that would come to dinner. I haven't seen it again but expect to. My neigbor said she killed one a week or so ago. She had never seen one like it before either. I told her about the new ants in Houston, TX ... she's not thrilled about them getting around here someday either. |

Multi-species banquet! That works. The owls and the avian insectivores in your area will be singing your praises. When we want more swallows and swifts in our district, that is the bait of choice, but we hang it on dowels from tree limbs. Attracts owls and smaller hawks as well because of the increased number of squirrels the bait attracts. |
