Didn't they just release an all in one pack of that game with all its expansions? Been meaning to pick that up...and a new computer.

I am a WW2 aircraft fanatic, the best sim out there is iL2 Sturmovik. Lately I updated my video drivers and for the first time I am able to run Anti-aliasing, what a difference!!! The results are so spectacular I just had to share... Here's a Mk IX Spitfire on an early morning desert sortie. This is an iL-4 over Slovakia, a terrific new map: REALLY should be working right now..... back to it!!! |

You are right about the Spit, it's a beauty. Ingame, you can try landing a Seafire on HMS Illustrious. It's hard, especially when the aircraft is on fire. The Memorial flight, did they have the Lancaster with them? That's maybe my second favourite 'plane. [Saw the Dam-Busters movie as a kid..that explains a lot] Out of 23 surviving airframes, I have personally seen seven. Even sat in the pilot's seat once!!! Just wait until they start flying the Vulcan at airshows... |

My personal favorites are the Wildcat and Corsair. But the Spit is a beauty, no doubt about it. I haven't played IL-2 since I got the SLI cards, may need to break it out again. Nice screen caps. |

More!! The i-16 gets a workout. It's actually fun to fly for an early war plane. The first Polish kill of WW2, P.11 vs He111. I think the He's skin is wrong, can't find a Polish campaign skin... |
