Denny...I have never seen them at less than $95...and that was a while back when I got my set ![]() I would like to get a full simpit setup one of these days...but for now I settled with rigging the throttle and stick to the arms of my computer chair...Its a pretty robust setup...and I can remove the arms...or the controllers from the arms pretty easily Will keep an eye out for you...and if I see an inexpensive set...will let you know. |

Cool! Thanks Solospirit. I had a chair based setup like that a long time ago but the stick I had was garbage. How are you finding the X52 by the way? Is it worth it? |

Very much so...one of the best flight controllers I have used...way better than anything else in that price range. Used it for MS Flight Sims...various Star Wars sims including Star Wars Galaxies :Jump to Lightspeed. Even works well in "realistic" sims like Orbiter So yep...very happy with it. Some minor niggles tho...the light on the throttle lcd sometimes fails on me, and it used to drop out in the middle of a session sometimes...but newer drivers seem to have fixed the later...and I dont mind the lcd problem. Overall probably 8-9 out of 10 ![]() |

Denny if you ever want some extra flight instruction, let me know. I should be back in the air in roughly 6 months if all goes well. ![]() |

Dang, how much would it cost to build a 2 axis chair? Did you ever see the guys down in the states that retrofitted an F-16 cockpit for their flight simulator? no no no... they got the real thing.. |

I got my Siatek X45 for £60 ($120) I love it! Now if only I had the room to build my own Mech Cockpit! When you do find a Siatek for a good price pick it up! They are without a doubt the best flight sticks you can get. My MW4 game improved about 35% (probably more) with the thing. I pretty much went from holding my own (my old stick did not have any rotation) to being able to take down Behometh with just a wasp. Now using the Siatek with Freespace 2 is just mindblowing! , some of the links may be helpful to you. |

I've never been one for flight sims or racing games so a setup like that wouldn't make much sense to me, but it's still spiffy never-the-less. If you want more cool accessories check out the . Costs about $180 USD though. I had a chance to play with one when I was at the Game Developers Conference in February and it was actually quite fun. I'll probably pick one up when I have the funds. |

I just remembered another uber controller. It's for a game called Steel Battalion for the original XBox. I have it but haven't played it all that much.[/url] |
