Dragon Avenue was hosting a contest for writing a 4th edition encounter, sans stats, and the votes have all come in. I took first place in their contest! http://www.dragonavenue.com/ - look for the news item "Encounter Design Contest Winners". At the moment, it's the newest, and hence top, news article...though that's likely to change. |

That was a very nice encounter... sort of combines the old "casual encounter" setup from the Journal Of The Travellers Aid Society (although not in as much detail) and the "Hook, Line, And Sinker" from Shadis Magazine. Did I just admit how old I am? |
