Post subject: | Star Wars Miniatures? |
OK, so to feed my pre-painted Collectibel Plastic Crack habit, I thought it would be fun to get into the Star Wars Miniatures Game (especially as my fiance is way more interested in Star Wars than superheroes and I always try to please her ![]() I was wondering if anyone here knew of some online resources beyond wizards.com that could help me out. I am particularly interested in finding something that might list the points values for various models so I am not just ordering my singles blindly. But other things like svenarios, maps, etc would also be appreciated. Thank you all for any help you can provide! |

No worries, I knoiw where to buy the stuff, but I don't quite know what I am ordering... is there something like Armybuilder for the game, or at least a listing of points values out there? |

Eric from Stones Edges started . There is a program called SWMini Manager. I am not sure what exactly is all in it as I have not used it yet, but the site itself should be useful. Covers the characters and ship mini games. Hope the link is allowed since its associated with a WWG associate. If the link is removed, PM me for more info. Just DLed SWMini Manager and it seems to be VERY complete. |

I bought a lot of the first 2 or 3 sets as they where quite cool (hey...all that white stoomtroopers there looking at you)... but it's me or the last sets look... I don't know how to say it... quite bad compared with the first ones... Usually thing with time improve...but with that SW for me goes to worse (quality of the painting/modeling... not playing it so I don't know about rules)... But that's more money that I've to spend in other things... With the D&D line it happens the same but not as "worse" to me... |

For what it is worth - I am hearing much the same about both of WotC's collectible mini games in general right now. Though I will admit, I was never all that impressed to begin with. (Gods, I hate random packaging!) The Auld Grump, grumping grumpily. |

For information on the Minis ie full stat and ability to compair to other minis , and for maps and other resources , while i know you mentioned other than WotC, they do have a searchable for all of the minis abilites etc, that would tell you the point cost and other info. And Eric's page has already been mentioned. I don't think any sell things so i hope the links work... If not PM me and i will send them if they get removed |
