Pathetic situation with the water, isn't it. The Mississippi River is super loaded with chemicals dumping and pestidides as well. Add to that the 'bio-solids' (human waste} they have been spreading on farm land for thirty years ... full of toxins. Just add all of that to tainted meat (beef, chicken, turkey). Lets not forget the mercury in seafood ... and fruits and vegtables that rot faster because its shipped a good 1500 miles before it get to you ... and all of it loaded with pesticides as well. No the wonder nothing taste right anymore. Dead zones multiplying in the oceans ... 'Soylent Green' can't be far off. I loved the IMAX sort of furneral in that movie a lot ... downright spiritual. No doubt the children of the future will whisper in awe and shock what Heston did; "I didn't know." But we did. |
