Whoa... And Toby kicking the Robotech Live Action franchise into gear? Double Whoa! That's potentially good news! (Understand I am a bit hesitant... I don't want them ruining my perfectly good nostalgic memories! Robotech was MY soap-opera after school. BTW thank GOD Rick stuck with the older more experienced woman (LISA) and not the little hotty pop singer (Minmay). he he I have been waiting and waiting and waiting to hear whatever happened to Cameron's Battle Angel , but alas I've heard nothing... Oh if we could just get them to make the original Ghost in a Shell movie into a live action flick I'd be in heaven. I mean the anime is paced and directed just like a "real" movie that I sometimes forget it is an animation. They could do it verbatim. OH! how about Ninja Scroll... or UrotsukiDoji? Well, maybe not the latter. But Speed Racer(aka Go Mifune) is getting his own movie. And Wicked City(Supernatural Beastie City) was made into a live action piece a handfull of years back albeit was Asian Cinema and not the best budget. I think Ninja Scroll or Ghost in a Shell deserves a shot. ~Floyd |
