Arise O' Lazarus, and walk with me! Two reasons for the the Thread Necromancy here - First - I think that I figured out the why of some of the changes to RuneQuest. The original RuneQuest used Chaosium's 'Basic Role Play' system, or more accurately, BRP was based on RuneQuest. Basic Role Play has not been opened as OGL content, so the RQ system underwent massive changes. (I think Chaosium would have been better served opening up BRP, but that is neither here nor there.) Second, and more cogent to the original topic - Green Ronin has posted the actual details of the . I do not know if there is enough of a market for World Works to make True 20 versions of the adventures or not, but there it is. Personally, I rather like the system, though the Pocket Edition does a better job of explaining the rules than the full edition. It works for both classic fantasy and more modern styles of game. Now if World Works were to open Mayhem to Spycraft.... The Auld Grump |
