Heh. My wife is doing a bit of world-building, and our best friend just gave her the SW Explorer's Edition book... and we're kinda liking what we're reading.
You guys may have another fan for the SW world soon...

Starting to plan out a Space Opera game. At the moment it will start as a one-off, and then if the players want to, it could then evolve into a campaign. Now.............. Savage World fan that I am, I am still undecided as to whether to use SW or a system called Hard][Nova by PIG ............ 
Based on recommendations from..... IIRC Delta Ice....... I bought EarthAD2 by PIG a while back and liked what I saw. Quite similar to SW in terms of being simple and fast to play and run, it is a good game for Post-Apoc games. Last week I got Hard][Nova game by the same people, and it does look good (and its also very cheap hehehe  ).
The thing I need to decide now is whether to use the Hard][Nova stuff or just use SW....... hmmm decisions, decisions!!!!! Then of course there is the Coyote Trail rules by PIG that I also bought last week, which would be a god chance to paint up and use those rather nice Black Scorpion minis I have.................. hmmmmmmm

Last night we got to our main objective in "Zombie Run" The PC's finally hit Phoenix...Now the fun starts! Using P_CON for the NORAD style base. Also created a random mutation table using SW Necessary Evil; powers combined with the old TMNT rules for mutating characters! I'm getting th players to role up normal SW characters first then I'm going to lay the mutation whammy on 'em! Takes place in 1945 and the idea is that these new supers end the war! |

Ah, more Savage converts ... warms my heart. I've dabbled elsewhere, but I always go back to Savage Worlds. For me, nothing else is simpler, richer and ultimately, more fun.
