Post subject: | Kaiju / Giant Monster Miniatures... |
This thread got me thinking about suitable Kaiju looking miniatures for giant monster games. I do have lots of Ultraman and Godzilla toys that run, roughly, from 2 inches to 2.5 inches in height. i have already built a city from the Mayhem Downtown scaled down to be suitable for a giant monster game board: the monsters don't tower over the buildings. I broke the board up into 4 blocks with 9 buildings per block (friends say it looks cool... once I get a digital camera I'll post some pics). I digress! So, any recommendations for Kaiju minis? I know the set for Monsterpocalypse is coming out, but some won't buy them due to it being collectible miniatures game (I will pick them up, since I'm a nut for the genre). Thanks ![]() Sniz |

I bought the Bandai set, with Godzilla, Mothra, Mothra as a catapillaer, etc. They average 2.5 - 3 inches, and look pretty darn good wityh my Mayhem and Shellandrac buildings scaled down to 6mm. I can't wait for Privateer's range to hit the shelves. ![]() |

Cool links! UltraMan was HUGE when i was a kid, in Mexico, and I have several nice figures (a few that fell out of Pinatas at various cousins' B-Day parties). |

to help fill out a city for one's monster game (let me know if this link is a no-no). A few broken links and some VERY detailed models, but don't let that scare you away... just dig a bit ![]() |

I don't know if you can have this link. Many of those sites are selling models. On the other hand most of the models are 15mm or 1/300 scale so I don't know how that factors in. One of the pay sites had some interesting things for steampunk. In the Heritage Model page they had a cornish beam engine and a tin mine engine house. They also had some pics of Unseen wizard university from a disc world cut out book. |

Found these guys at target, they are similar scale to the other Kaiju miniatures I have been using: I picked some up for $3 each, so don't pay the $10 some sites are trying to get. |

Snizitch one might just colour you slightly "interested" in the genre, yes? Oh if you didn't read it before in the other thread - PP said that the scale is "Whatever looks good" - Hint hint! Lord Abaddon of Wormwood |
