Post subject: | Gaming WW1 |
After getting into WW1 with Piquet a bit over a year ago, and working in 15mm since finding a 75% off sale on Minifigs, I have crossed over to 28mm skirmish gaming with the Iron Ivan rules, Price of Glory. Gads, I have grown to like their rules for WW2 and seeing some great new lines of 28mm stuff, I just jumped right in. Still believe that Villageworks and Shellendrack Manor will do well, and if I can make up some signs in French, the Harbormaster house might even work for a Belgian river or port community. Anyone else doing WW1? Next to the Korean War, I think it is just about the least played period in history, but the new rules and figures will hopefully show folks it can be just as interesting to game as any other era. Don't play it much as of yet but we're going to do a little flashback scenario in a miniatures heavy Call of Cthuhlu game. The GM wants to take us to the trenches where undoubtedly something indescribable will happen! There are great figs here tho! http://www.pulpfigures.com/catmain.php? ... 1193865193 |

Those are interesting figures. I think Brigade Games carries those, or a similar line. His site doesnt have the good pictures of them, so I like seeing them in that one. May have to break down and get the Gaslight: To Be Continued rules for pulp gaming. I like their rules system. Tom |
