I don't think it's ever been favourable, but it was at one of it's lowest points that I recall back in 2001... right before I moved to the US, changing up all my money, Blair opened his big mouth and said the country was fully behind the Euro. Unfortunately, only big businesses and the government were "fully behind the Euro" and most countries who had joined it were struggling... so the pound sterling took a nosedive. 1 - Yes 2- Somewhat 3- The US domestic economy is an amazing economic engine, but it is showing the signs of not being properly maintained for a while I don't envy the next president ... ... must ... resist ... the ... urge ... to ... comment ... further ... Back on topic: The lower US$ has been great for me, with WWG purchases effectively costing significantly lower than this time last year. ![]() |
