LOS ANGELES - Google Inc. is bankrolling a $30 million out-of-this-world prize to the first private company that can safely land a robotic rover on the moon and beam back a gigabyte of images and video to Earth, the Internet search leader said Thursday. Here is the news link |

LOVE IT! As much as I wish government would take massive steps towards securing our future in space, they just don't seem to put a priority on it. It will be the corporations that push us out of our nest. At this point I don't care how we get there as long as we get there and soon. I think in very real terms the longevity of our species depends on it (and in the short term future). |
