Alright - I have no idea where I'm going with this. ![]() Feel free to play around with your avatars, and do stuff that you'd never be caught online with! So, I'll start: |

Hee hee, I like the idea of having a silly avatar! Um, except I actually use my silly avatar as my avatar. ![]() Speaking of which, I have done nothing special to deserve an avatar like the ones I see here on this forum, I just did mine in the same style because I thought it would be neat! But if I'm doing something really bad please tell me and I'll change it immeaditly! On the other hand, if it's okay I could post a jpeg of a blank avatar template for other people to make silly avatars. ![]() |

Thanks for the welcome! ![]() Now then, there's no need to worry about sounding pissy. I really do appreciate your honesty! - albeit I was also some-what offended by it. I know being a newbie doesn't have to be a bad thing, but still, older members appreciate it when new-comers start out as being humble. This isn't the only forum I've ever been on, so I know there's a "hierachy" of sorts - and as of right now I'm still the newest member on this forum so that puts me at the very bottom! But I sure hope everyone doesn't think I was trying to be rude by making my avatar! That certainly wasn't my intent! And it took a lot more than 20 mintues to make, let me tell you! ![]() But, that said, I'll change my avatar to something else. I did try to make it different enough with the false title and the 12:00 o'clock. But at a glance it does seem a lot like the other ones doesn't it? I wont change it right now because it's awfully late, but I'll change it very soon! But! I better see some more participation here! Hee hee. So far Aleph13 is the only one to make a silly avatar. And if I'm to feel guilty over what I've done I better see something real good and silly to cheer me back up! ![]() Thanks! - Eidrog ----The Newbie |

hmm, I have mixed feelings about this. I certainly don't want to put up barriers to newbies. And I'm not at all sure that I could say making your own avatar is wrong. But perhaps you did too good a job on it. I remember feeling some what disquited by it when I first looked at it. Its so well done I initially thought it must be a joke by someone at WW. So I don't really like that people might just make their own WW style avatar. I think that there is something to receiving a WW avatar. A feeling of having done something to contribute. A yet though I find it uncomfortable, I don't want to make you feel unwelcome. It not as though its the first joke avatar, to my knowledge its simply the first fan made one. |

I was very pleased when I gained my 'official' avatar, but I don't have a problem with you creating your own. Especially when it says 'Nobody special' on it ![]() ![]() Welcome to the forums! Steve |

Golly, are ya sure I can keep it? I have to admit to hoping something like that would be said. . . but, I can't help but feel a little bit guilty over it. Well, I'll keep it for now and try to be more tactful in the future. Thank you very much Aleph13! Well, I uh. . . promised I'd actually contribute to this thread with my next post here but it's awfully late again and I find myself wanting to go to bed. I did do some constructing tonight like I had hoped for! But it ended in a little bit of disappointment as can be seen . Heh, as for the character I've chosen to depict myself with, he's the Eidrog! When I was taking classical animation classes he saw me through the hard times. . . The teacher would say: "Don't you dare use that character on your assignment or I'll fail you!" But, it would be the end of semester, I'd be a drooling husk of a human being, and for my final assignment I could only muster enough creative force to draw such a pathetically simplistic character. . . Still, he got me a 90%, and I kinda like him. ![]() Now then, if anyone can tell me how I came up with the name 'Eidrog" I'll be really impressed! ![]() |

Ha ha! You're right about the name Goride! (Albeit I prefer the name Gord now) ![]() As for the website, holy cow! While I think it's pretty neat, I have to sadly admit to it not being my own. Nonetheless, you got my name right. . . So I'm impressed! ![]() |

I thought Eidrog was a name reversed as well. My sister does something similar for passwords. I do rather like the character, it has an oddly appealing style. The green backlighting you had on full figure version was a good effect. You do some very nice artwork, both digital and painting. |

Well, I'm glad you took it well enough, Eidrog. Like, I said, I didn't want to scare you off or be uncharitable or...that kind of thing. So, just one question; if you're Canadian and your nick is Eidrog, is your nick's last name Ewoh? |
