Yes, I agree, the changes that have happened to the main (and some minor) characters over the course of the series has been very interesting to see.


Yes, I think "Breathless" is a good description for some of the action sequences in the book. I had a few spots where I had to stop and re-read a page or two because I didn't catch everything the first time....

Overall, I'd say the book turns out to be better then the 6th book....

Yeah I'm impressed with how well she completed the thing. The last several books had givin me reservations about the story, but really I thought she carried the thing to a worthy end. Oddly considering the story was good enough that I went through it in the last 8 hours or so, I still have reservations about seeing the movie. I think I'm just going to get hug up on errors or changes and end up annoyed. Perhaps it would be best to walk away from the whole thing now while I'm satisfied.

My wife devours books like that, but I've never really understood doing so. I like to read a chapter or two a day, and think about the story, so I take a lot longer to read a book. The upside to my method is that books usually sink in more and I can remember more about them afterwards than my wife can.

Just finished it last night. Really enjoyed it. Sad that it's all over now.

Mrs. Rowling has done a couple of interviews fleshing out the epilogue as well. has links to all the info. Has answers to questions about characters jobs and whatnot. Yes, I know caring about such extraneous info makes me a complete Potter geek.
