OMG, TWO HOUR wait for the new Sonic in WPB!! I have refused any and all fast food for 11 years now, (not one BK, No McDonalds, no Wendies, No Nada) just so I can justify eating Sonic 2+ times a day when I go to Arkansas/Oklahoma! The tots! Ohhhhh, the tots! And those juicy burgers that literally drip some sort of juice when you grip them! Ohhhh! And the Cherry Limeade!!! And those honey battered corndogs! I eat those as appetizers!! I've been waiting for Sonic to hit South Florida for ten years now!!! Yes!!!! Screw Whattaburger and Carl Jrs., Sonic is King!!! |

You'll be happy to know that Bioware is working on a Sonic RPG then! Unfortunately, it's based on the hedgehog named Sonic, not the fastfood restaurant, but you could pretend ![]() Grats on your favourite place opening locally. I really wish you could get Potbelly Sandwich Works out here in the NW. I really miss that from Chicago. At least there is a Panera up in Redmond. Arabin |

Semi soggy, with olive oil dripping off, ohhhhhhhh! I save the bones (crust) for last, and dip 'em in olive oil mixed with garlic and italin herbs, ohhhhhhhhhhhh! I only really like cheese pizza, or cheese and anchovy. Although I tried squid pizza in Myanmar, and it was awsome (they gave me extra tentacles!) |

LOL, cheesecake is my favourite dessert. For every ounce of hate you have for it, I have a pound of love ![]() I've been the the Cheesecake Factory before as well (they are everywhere in Chicago) and they make a superb banana creme cheesecake... mmm. I can see this is a love-hate relationship... I love cheesecake, you hate it ![]() Arabin |

Hate is not a strong enough word for it! An affront to God and humanity as far as I'm concerned ![]() Did you ever have a "Pirogi" in Chicago? Near Hobart, in Gary is the Polish area, and they make the best Pirogis,,,,Ohhhhhhhhhhh! I'll have to post of the pic I took on the way to O'Hare last year. A "Soul Food, Tacos, Pirogis and Calzones" shack, with a huge line outside ![]() ![]() ![]() |

My friend used to make them for us sometimes, but I don't think I've ever eaten them out. The only food place in Seattle I've found that I love is The Crumpet Shop, which serves really nice crumpets. Get your mind out of the gutter... it's not what you are thinking... They also serve tea (if you like that kinda thing) or a not too shabby cup of coffee. Nice little place, though I wish it had more room... eating in is extremely crowded. Arabin |

Fish and chips are good... but cilantro!?! That is one of the most disgusting tastes on the planet... I can't stand that stuff. It took me a while of eating at thai restaurants before I finally figured out what single ingrediant made me gag... now I stay well clear of it. You and I certainly seem to be opposites on a lot of things ![]() I won't get into the whole Ketchup/Catsup arguement, so we'll just have to agree to disagree... unless you agree that I'm right ![]() As for rhubarb... it's a really nice taste... and is fantastic as a rhubard crumble (if done right) but I never really liked it in a pie. Heh. Arabin |

Nah, Arabin, unless you profess some loyalty to U of Washington Huskies, were OK. It does seem like we like the EXACT opposites in food, save for Earl Gray and Fish and chips! ![]() Cilantro is my secret ingrediant in all my dishes! I bring back the best seeds from Mexico (and allways have fun at customs ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Sorry I missed you logging out mate. Although I'm English, I actually don't like tea ![]() I also don't like olives, peppers, anything like that really. I'm not a sports fan though... and if I was, my heart is still in Chicago when it comes to American sports, and SE London when it comes to real sports ;D But lets not get back on that whole sports debate. After reading all those food posts, I guess I'll go make something special ... German potato salad ... gosh I wish I could import some pennsylvania dutch cooking here. I'm trying to get into Southern menus though. I discovered pecan pie; shelling all those pecans is a pain though. Shrimp and catfish are big here ... along with frog legs and numerous other animal parts I've never eaten before. And won't! I'm not an experimenter when it comes to food really. I would like to try buffalo meat though. |

Delta, theirs two southern dishes that you need to avoid at all costs: "Chicken Fried Steak" and "Frito Pie"!!!! ![]() My GF from Turkey lived in Sonoma a bit and had this system for grilling portabellas braised with olive oil! Very good, but I felt like liberal, so I demanded a big skirt steak to go with it, before I started wearing birkinstocks or something ![]() |

The sheer amount of salt makes it taste good...if you like salt. Which I do. But still...who the hell thought THAT sounded good? |

Can't wait for "Taco night". Mty daugher and I get tacos, made by real Mexicans, from a local Taqueria and watch the Simpsons every Sunday!! Ohhhhhhhhhh! One thing we don't order is the "Burrito de Carne Differente" or as their English menu says "Burrito with "Other" meat" ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
