So it occurred to me as I was building my force for Friday night's game that half of my Triple Lenses were black, and the other half were gray. So I took a little time to repaint them all black, and it really adds to the cohesiveness of the units and force as a whole. Took me maybe ten minutes, too. So next time I am at a lull between Kroots and Space Marines I am going to paint all their guns black, too. And then I can do their helmets, and then... the best thing about these models is that with the stuff already painted, you can start playing right away, and then do touch ups as you have the time or inclination. |

Yeah, I think I am going to have to paint numbers on the back of the bases so I can keep my units seperated on the table. Buit only once I have enough units that it is a problem. |

I've done numbers for Blood Bowl, Necromunda, Mordheim, etc. to track individuals. That reminds me...does anyone remember 2nd edition Blood Bowl (the first boxed set)? They had colored rings that fit onto the slotta bases of the miniatures to denote what type of player they were. I'm surprised no one has done it since. |
