You are not alone... most of us are probably into some form of video gaming, be it console, PC, MMO, all of the above, other... I'm not particularly excited for anything right now... which is a strange feeling. There is usually something to go gaga about. PS3 - I'm not interested. My PS2 is still doing a great job, and I have no interest in upgrading to a PS3. Xbox 360 - Still on my wishlist. I don't own it yet, and don't expect to buy games at full price anyway. $50 is really my limit unless it's something really special that'll keep me coming back... like Oblivion... and then I get the collectors set (PC). When I do pick up a 360, Saints Row, Dead Rising and Mass Effect (not released yet) will be the first games I pick up. PC - Still interested in Spore, though the more I see of it, the more it seems to be focused on the least interesting parts. I really like the idea, but I fear the whole developing of a species will become like an intro, and the main game will be the city/planet interactions. New Civ IV expansion in a couple of weeks which I'll be picking up. Then Bioshock next month, the not-sequel to System Shock 2. Still waiting for good info on Dragon Age by Bioware. The Force Unleashed looks interesting, but I'm not keen on the heavilly overpowered use of the force. I saw an interview with the lead designer (?) and he thought it was cool to over emphasize every ability. Still, should be fun when released. Wii - I enjoy party games with my wife, and some friends, but the system is in desperate need of some loving. I'm not interested in the same games I'd want to play on another system though... I want only unique and innovative games on the Wii. Zelda was fun, and I would pick up Lego Star Wars (soon) but I've already played the game. Sure, wielding a lightsaber would be cool but it's not enough for me. DS - I'm looking forward to Biowares Sonic RPG on the DS, but that probably won't have any info at this year's E3. Right now I'm content to play Puzzle Quest. I wouldn't mind seeing more Dragon Quest adentures like Rocket Slime though. Arabin |

Bioshock is currently due for release next month... I hope it is not postponed! I have no doubt I will pick up Spore when it's released, but I desperately hope it doesn't fall in the same trap as so many other games that should have been incredible like Fable or Black & White. I know it's not by the same people, but when a game builds so much hype that it sits on a pedestal as the ultimate game, it can sadly only disappoint. I'm trying to avoid the press about it now and just let them finish when they can, then I'll look at it again. I forgot to mention that I'm really looking forward to Fallout 3. I'm sure there will be some new things revealed at E3. Perhaps we might even get a hint at the next Elder Scrolls game as well... Arabin Arabin |

Can't believe I didn't mention this one, but this will be the reason I get a 360 by the end of the year... GTA4 ![]() I know what you mean about contantly upgrading CCorD. I have needed an upgrade for a couple of years now... just not had the funds. If your buddy brings any cool bits back from E3 this year... invite me over to rummage ![]() Arabin |

well i dont know if anyone watched at all, but the microsoft press conf. was last night. overall it was decent, but nothing earth shattering. they showed lots of clips of different games. im excited for: assassins creed halo 3 mass effect bioshock call of duty 4 rock band they did announce a new game though... Scene It? if youve ever played the board game/dvd game, its pretty fun, and im actually kinda excited about this one. my wife will like it anyway. it ships with 4 new controllers (think fisher price wiimotes with colorful buttons...but without the motion sensing) but you get all that for $60. not bad. anyway, nintendos press conf starts in about an hour, so that should be cool...although i have a business meeting during that time DOH! so i will have to settle for watching it later today. |
