I dig the Cthulhu pirates idea. As much as I love traditional fantasy it does get a bit old after nearly 25 years of gaming.

I have decided (for the moment at least) on the X-Com game for one class, and the Pirate Cthulhu game for the other.

The Pirates and More Pirates game just seems to lack flavor in comparison, fun, but just too much like other settings.

It ended up being X-Com (Delta Green) and Steam Era fantasy, both using True 20.

Folks may remember my complaining for a few years how I would bring in a box of printed up World Works and none of the kids using it.

This year they just about emptied the box. Some of the builds are quite good, others are held together with Scotch tape, but a lot of terrain has been built.

I am having a much better time running classes this year than last - it is reminding me of why I do this. I can't wait 'til next year!

Thats great to hear mate!! Any chance of some pics of their efforts?

Especially photos of the X-Com builds. It's something I dream of doing but haven't got around to doing yet. I want a farm, couple of buildings, with a crashed UFO. Have most of it thought out, and even where to get the minis I want (Greys and Mutons at least) but would love to see what you are doing.

Keep up the good work of educating kids on the wonders of modeling, and gaming.
