My sister got us the Alien/Species double feature DVD. Is Species appropriate for my duaghter, in other vwords, is their nudity and/or sex?? She tells me the "Facehuggers" don't scare her (she's only seen "Aliens"), but I've never seen Species. Trey Parker and Matt Stone from South Park recommend it, which indicates nudity and more. So if theirs nudity: no for my daughter, Smokey might watch it just so I am an "informed parent". |

IIRC there was nudity and very soft sex scenes...... unless you have the same version we get over here which would then be censored to pieces and would be suitable for every Tom, Dick and Harry ![]() |

SPOILER ALERT................for those who haven't seen Species The whole point of the movie Species is the female alien is trying to reproduce. So yes there is nudity and sexual scenes, while not particulary strong ones they are there never the less. You need to be asking is my daughter OLD enough to watch these really. |

Is my daughter old enough? 'ell NO!! She's eleven, for God's sake! Children don't "murder" eachother in the streets in Florida. Since EVERY law abiding citizen is allowed to carry a gun here, the little 'astards seldom have a chance (their a little slow on the draw, compared to a proficient adult!) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() BTW, I'm at my sisters here in WP: where a pilot and a customer were being robbed at gunpoint at a deli in the early AM. The armed robbers were herding them into a cooler, the pilot dropped reportedlly $500 on the floor, as the bad guys were scooping it up, Bang! Bang! (The pilot had a 'carry", therefore two less armed robbers in the World to worry about:D ) Smokey and his GF will have to watch this first. BTW, Aliens was a bit scary as I recall when I saw it at the theatres (about the same age as my daughter is now). She thinks its comical ![]() ![]() ![]() BTW: With all the kids around here, we had on the Sponge Bob. At one point, Patrick and Bob were on the lam, and the police kept saying "We have a Runner" ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
