I know there are a bunch of zombie lovers around here, and was just wondering if anyone plays the free online game, ? If there are enough of us, I'm thinking we could start our own group on there, Cult of WWG, or something along those lines. I forgot the password for my original characters from long ago, but I restarted a while back as Silverback Jack. Let me know if you play as well. Arabin |

I'm already in there, as Silverback Jack. I have been playing for a while, maxed my level on non-zombie skills, only died once so far and thankfully managed to get revived after not too long a delay. I have added Cult of WWG to my profile. I'll work on putting something on the official wiki page. Right now, I'm in Nixbank, on the west side of the city. When you get in game, let me know where you are, and what your character is called, and we can try to hook up. Nope, just your browser and internet connection. It's a mostly text based game. You can have a maximum of 50 turns at once, and earn them at a rate of 1 every 30mins. Basically, you log in once or twice a day and use them up. If you are a military type, you head for the nearest police station and start searching. You can find shotguns and pistols, along with ammo, in police stations. When you find nano clinics, you can search them to find revivication syringes. Once you have the skill you will have the option to revive a zombie, returning him to human form... unless the zombie is intentionally a player killer, in which case your revivication will fail. There are also first aid kits to be found in hospitals. You hide in a building, build up the bariicades and search for supplies, then head out and hopefully kill a zombie or two. The biggest thing to remember is never log out in the streets. You can enter a barricaded building as long as the barricade is Very Strong Barricade, or less. It's not rocket science, but it's a lot of fun. Get in the game already... there are zombies begging for a bullet in the head! NOTE: The group I'm setting up is a survivor group. Zombie class characters are not welcome. However, if a member dies, we'll all make every effort to revive them. Safefty in numbers! Arabin |

Botton left corner you will see a link to the wiki page. There is a full map there, broken by region. The region is listed above your mini map in game. Click the region on the wiki page to zoom in the a closer view. There is tons of info on that site. Edit your profile, and enter the group as: Cult of WWG It would have been easier if you'd provided your region name as well as location, but it's okay, I searched and found that you are at: The Laurence Building (7,86), in Foulkes Village. What is your name, etc.? EDIT: Although you need to look around the wiki page for info, here is a shortcut direct to the map: Arabin |

I'm exactly 13 spaces north of your starting location. You won't be able to enter as it's Extremely Heavilly Barricaded, but you can get into a building nearby. EDIT: Mockridge Cinema (1,81)... okay, you are getting closer. From there I am 9 north, 6 east of you. Careful though, there are reports of lots of zombies not that far from you. If you can't get to me today, make sure you get inside. Deakin Alley Police Dept is at (7,72). There is a closer police station to you at (1,78) where you might be able to find some weapons. Arabin |

Okay, never messed with a Wiki page before, but I've started one for the Cult of WWG. Hopefully a bunch of us can go there, including the staff. It's only a few minutes a day. Link is here: Arabin |

Heh, well usually you can be confident that other survivors will not attack you, but there are PKers out there, even whole groups of them, and if someone revived a zombie who hates the living, he'll go on a rampage until undead again. Shooting does miss a lot, especially when you begin. Once you earn enough experience, you can increase your skills, and you chance to hit, but you will still miss a lot of the time. At best, a pistol is doing 5 points of damage. If the zombie you are shooting used to be alive, they might have a flak jacket, which reduces damage by 1. They might also have increased their hit points from 50 to 60. You could have, say 50% change to hit with a pistol. That means, to kill that zombie, you will need 15 hits, which will require firing 30 bullets (on average). If you didn't have 3 pistols fully loaded, you use another action to reload each time... plus you had to get to the zombie, and get back to somewhere safe. It's not easy staying alive in this game. Definitely not like the movies where you can blow them away with one shot. Arabin |

I wonder if the game has the action points I'd be wanting ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Its kinda old school RPG -like fun, hope we get more in the group! |

I've been enjoying the game for a while, playing on and off. I've never tried getting into a group before, but can see lots of benefits with doing so. I can easily spend a whole day of actions building up the barricades to keep out a horde of zombies... but then I'm sat there, unmoving for 24 hours. Would be nice to have people around the world, looking out for each other, travelling as a gang. And it's only a few minutes a day... Arabin |

I've already used my turns for the day so won't be back on until tomorrow. I usually play my turns fairly early in the morning, PST. I'm back at the same police station mentioned above. The building I want to take back from the horde though, is The Penning Building, Nixbank (7,76). Arabin |

I'm gonna write in a potatoe cannon for our home zombie gaming. I just test fired ours, and I shot a sweet potato over 100 yards horizontally with relatively little drop, maybe 6 inches! And it packs a wallop! now tommorow, after our tubors have been soaking in kerosene, they will fire up pretty (and undoubtedly injure myself and others ![]() |

I'm in! Savasku Class: Civilian (Fireman) Level: 1 Group: Cult of WWG Current location: East Grayside It will take me a while to get over to Nixbank! First day - wandered about a bit, found a zombie and tried to hit it with my axe. It started biting me back! It infected me, so I ran away. Made it to a nearby hospital, found a first aid kit, cured my infection, fell asleep. Quite a busy first day! Steve |

Heh, welcome aboard. That does sound like a pretty exciting day... and the fact that you survived your first encounter is always a plus. East Grayside looks like a pretty good location... you have: 4 police stations, 4 hospitals, 1 fire station, 1 necrotech building, and a bunch of other interesting buildings. What is the zombie population like out that way? I know zombies are coming in force to the Nixbank area, so perhaps it's time for us to relocate. Arabin |

Half a dozen zombies gathered outside my police station in Nixbank. Went down to check on The Penning Building (Necrotech) and it was breached. Killed the zombie inside, dumped the bodies outside, repaired the damage and rebuilt the barricades up to VSB, then returned the the police station to reload. Arabin |
