Now how many have seen this "". Wanted to know if it was worth the effort (not that it's not good value or anything). Still I know even when I get this book I still wont like painting nor do I have an urge. Standees seem to be the way to go. Lord Abaddon of Wormwood |

I ended up picking this up. A lot of useful stuff all put at your finger tips instead of spread all over the web in different places. Good examples. Good layout. Lots of info and ideas. They cover a whole gamut, not just painting miniatures. Only real complaint, some of the images are pretty small. And low quality. So I won't be printing this one out. I just use it for online references. ~Floyd |

This e-book is a compilation of the tutorials on the CMON site. Personally, I'm not going to spend the money since I don't use many of the tutorials there. And the ones I really want I already downloaded into document format for myself anyway. That isn't to say you shouldn't have a look and see if this is for you. Just not for me. |

I've not seen the book you want, but I have now talked to 6 individuals who rave, slobber and foam over . I'm thinking of picking it up now. Don't know if I can handle spending $52 USD on a book, but I came to realize that the books I get on computer stuff are about that or more. (My TCP/IP Illustrated 3 volume set was $175 USD and that was at discount). So I figure if I know of 6 people who are rabid over it that it must be good. CCotD' |

I own that Foundry book and it changed the way I paint. I started using the techniques in that book and I've been able to churn out miniatures quickly with excellent results. It was quite inspirational for me, personally. It got me to shade my miniatures without washes, which I always made a mess of. Its also nice to see examples in a book that you can actually achieve. I'll admit I'm a pretty good painter but nowhere near the level of Rackham game's painters, for example. I got the book from Amazon for $26. |
