I find if you do your construction in a assembly line manner and over the course of a few days, you don't feel so tired after building. Of course, whenever my wife and I work on a set, we build three of everything (except the Maiden, which we're both dancing around building because we're both a bit wary of the time required). |

It doesn't make me tired really. But If I'm doing the same thing, like props or walls, I get pretty board. Thats why I like to have the tv or a movie going. Not something too interesting though or I watch it instead of working. Except for edging, I know its necessary, but it makes me tired. Especially for props, its so much work, and there are so very many to do. |

I have a hard time sitting focused on building for a long time, so do a couple of things at once. I might be playing a game of Civ4, take my turns, go cut and score a piece, then take another turn. Glue some bits together, take another turn. etc. I'm the same with painting minis. I have tried sitting watching a movie, while cutting on a small cutting mat on my lap, but found I didn't get a whole lot done. Occassionally I'll manage to sit and focus, and I'll be amazed at how much I can manage to build in a short time. I guess that explains why some people are able to through a mayhem layout together in an evening, while others take months (like me). As long as we are still having fun, or at least will have fun when we get to play on it... it's all good, right? Arabin |

I use a mini drafting table to cut. I simply put it up in front of the tv. Unless I get called away I spend several hours at a time working. I've never done anything like a 24 hour build, but 6 or 8 isn't uncommon for me if I don't work. |

Build my castle, fun interesting. Build 40 chairs and edge them, boring. Edit: Sorry, an Additional 40 chairs |
