Man I really loved the old Planet of the Apes movies. Even having read the original book, I think the Charlton Heston version is the best. Although the description of Wall-street as seen from an Apes perspectives was absolutely insane. I would second your choice of WWG sets and add Skullcove to that. (For your huts, forts and some jungle goodness(not to mention the nice Mountain/Cliffs). You know the sculptor Jim Bowen has some really nice miniatures... The rest can be seen (about a 1/4 of the way down the page). ~Floyd |

OM Gawad! Those figs are great!! But, WHY so big??? What posesses a sculptor to do 40mm???? Its not like these guys need to be compatible with 1/48 Monogram BF109's??? Make 'em 28mm and I'll buy them, hug them, squeeze them and call them "George" ![]() |

Ever since I saw Troy McLure do "POTA, the Musical" on the Simpsons, I laugh everytime I hear "Dr. Zaus"! |

I love POTA, and those figures are great, but it is a shame, as you said, that they are so large. If you want other ape minis, check out the thread I started some time ago... and add any you find that are not listed there: Arabin |
