I have very mixed feelings about the fact that is in the works. That it is not being made by the original team bothers me a great deal. On the other hand it is being made by Bethesda.... I almost wish that it was being done by some other company, just so I could ignore it. ![]() The Auld Grump |

I will admit that I did not much like Fallout Tactics, partly because I had liked the original two Fallout games for their multiple plots. I played them a lot more than once through. ![]() And the fact that there were hints of story lines left over from an older game called (I played Wasteland on my old Commodore 64. ![]() The Auld Grump |

I've been playing a bit of Fallout Tactics recently. The inventory management sucks, but the game is really good, and quite a challenge. Great stuff. Arabin |

Wow, that's a whole heap of opinons there. Fallout is about many things, to many people, and no amount of spewing from anyone will change what the developers produce. He who controls the game rights, controls the game universe. The developers will make whatever they want, and we'll happily buy it, though there will be many that complain right after launch about how it wasn't the game to perfectly fit their needs/wants. The movement you mention in the gaming world is nothing new... it's unfortately a side effect of the internet... making everyone and everything accessible to everyone. Everyone has a voice, and it's very easy to be heard on the interweb... which also allowed you to post your opinons, and me to now post a response. Personally, I'd love if it was still turn based as I really enjoy that type of gameplay, and buy a lot of games of that ilk. If it ends up as a first person shooter with rpg elements... I'll still buy it. Just chill, and stay away from the arguementative forums ![]() Arabin |

just had to say that I love the idea of doing a fallout world and my grandkids like that type of setting so, me and the wife have begun construction using mayhem and deadfall. I will try to post some pictures, (truth be told me and the wife used to play old DnD with grand kids, now we have a new batch ![]() I am surprised no one else posted any other fallout ideas. |
