Hey CapnG I finally got around to thoroughly reading the rules for Zombie manor. It seems like it will be a fun little diversion (as soon as I can build a decent Manor house). I like the "Take that" factor you've tossed in with the ability to try and stop the other hunters from escaping with the pendant. I do have a question or more of a clarification though... The movement rules (for hunters) are pretty implicitly stated. But I've not found anything specified for the creatures (other than the # of spaces they can move). So is it assumed then that they also are constrained by the "Cannot move through spaces occupied by other Hunters, Furniture or monsters"? I know you had designed the game with simplicity in mind. But I thought it would be neat if the Spider (at least) could crawl over furniture. Maybe at a -1 move penalty. Crawing across ceilings and dropping into the middle of the room or onto a hunter would be neat. (Or over a banister and down into the foyer area) Maybe that's just something (my group) could House-Rule. Also, it would be nice to expand the Beastiary with some of the free standees available here. ~Floyd |
