The Explorer's Society sounds like a good resource, but it's of no use to me. If the image had already been available elsewhere, I don't know why they used the term "...an exclusive members-only preview..." After reading your post, I found a link to a PDF with a couple of previews: I couldn't find anything else though. If they want to keep the product hidden away for members only, that's fine, I'll just spend money elsewhere. I would say that they need to work on their marketing strategy a LOT, but the marketing manager for Pinnacle is Joseph Unger, and I've always respected every other Unger I've known ![]() Arabin |

As Count_Zero pointed out, this isn't really part of the marketing strategy for Slaughter Gulch. It's part of the marketing strategy for the SWXS. PEG doesn't do a WIP-meter the way WWG does, but I'm guessing that Slaughter Gulch isn't nearly far enough advanced yet to warrant any "official" previews other than the one they already did. |

But they posted the news item on TMP... which was clearly a move to promote the miniature. Oh well, it doesn't matter. It's a long way off before release so I'll look at it later... I just wish they hadn't posted the article the way they did. I am well aware that most people do not have WIP meters, and was patiently waiting for news... which they then posted. Arabin |

I have little history with PEG so I do give them the benefit of the doubt and actually assume their intent was to drum up interest for their GM site. No sinister motives. I need to get slapped at least a couple of times before I start to think ill of a company. This doesn't count as a slap though. Steve |
