The Explorer's Society sounds like a good resource, but it's of no use to me. If the image had already been available elsewhere, I don't know why they used the term "...an exclusive members-only preview..."

I couldn't find anything else though. If they want to keep the product hidden away for members only, that's fine, I'll just spend money elsewhere.

I would say that they need to work on their marketing strategy a LOT, but the marketing manager for Pinnacle is Joseph Unger, and I've always respected every other Unger I've known

As Count_Zero pointed out, this isn't really part of the marketing strategy for Slaughter Gulch.

It's part of the marketing strategy for the SWXS.


PEG doesn't do a WIP-meter the way WWG does, but I'm guessing that Slaughter Gulch isn't nearly far enough advanced yet to warrant any "official" previews other than the one they already did.

But they posted the news item on TMP... which was clearly a move to promote the miniature. Oh well, it doesn't matter. It's a long way off before release so I'll look at it later... I just wish they hadn't posted the article the way they did. I am well aware that most people do not have WIP meters, and was patiently waiting for news... which they then posted.

I have little history with PEG so I do give them the benefit of the doubt and actually assume their intent was to drum up interest for their GM site. No sinister motives. I need to get slapped at least a couple of times before I start to think ill of a company.

This doesn't count as a slap though.
