Hi and welcome to the forum, I hope you'll have a lot of fun here.

Yes, I downloaded FATE a few months ago for a new game. It's a nice, simple system with an interesting pyramid skill build. I'm not too keen on all the extras rules, which complicate an otherwise simple game. Like most generic systems, its worth thinking about customising the skills to reflect whatever genre you are trying to capture.
