Personally, I didn't really enjoy it. It's a game very much focused on screwing over your fellow players. Since I play a lot of boardgames with my wife, playing this one usually ends with me sleeping on the couch
Also, the game can get bogged down and drag on. Since you are both trying to get to the helicopter, it's easy to throw swarms of zombies in your opponents path, who does the same to you, and you both end up dying. When you die, you restart from the initial location and try again... only there are loads of zombies now wandering around.
If you like an aggressive game of backstabbing, you will probably enjoy this, but it wasn't for me.
The zombie minis are good for cannon fodder though. I still need to pick up some zombie dogs.
