Okay, the wife hadn't played a game for years, since her PTSD issues overwhelmed her. A friend told us about the Munchkins card games, and I said yes, we'd give it a try. So, Munchkin Bites was unwrapped at Christmas, and the wife played and actually enjoyed a game. After a few fun games, and learning what we didnt understand on the first game, we are really enjoying this quirky card game. Just wondered if anyone else has tried these things? Guess you could use a WWG product and minis to move as you go through the cards. That would add a bit of dimension to the game. Hmmm, come to think of it, some funny little figures, Cave Works, and the kitchen table, might just add a lot of interest to the game.... |

I LOVE these games! Have only played a couple variations, but they're a great relief from the heavy-handed ridiculously in-depth games I usually find myself playing ![]() For the cards, would the chest from the "coins" set work? Great storage for cards/chips/minis or anything used in the game. |

Made a character once, but sadly, we never got to actually play it. It was an Orc Bard playing a heavy metal drum kit I still think that Munchkin is really the only setting that D20 can portrait accurately. |

Yep! My kids really enjoy the fantasy one (plus expansions). My gaming buddies LOVE the back-stabbing aspects. We play with 8 of us, and it's a challenge making it to 10th level with everyone out to nail you. Requires team play, with allegiances changing every turn. Quite fun. Have the space theme too, but the kids didn't care for that one as much as fantasy for some reason. Have not picked up any of the others (spy theme, vampire theme, super hero theme, possibly one other). Glad your wife enjoyed it! Steve |
