Hmmm, I am about to step out, but a great resource for finding old material is which saves old versions of many, many websites. You can get lost traveling down memory lane there. In the past I have used it to find some RPG material that I submitted to a site that is long gone, and had also vanished from my hard drive. ![]() The Auld Grump |

While I was easily able to find the archived webpages I was looking for they unfortuanety did not have the pdf's archived so in this particular instance it did not help me, BUT I would still like to thank you for the link Grump (bookmarked it) as I am sure it will come in very handy at in the future. I was able to find a pdf version of the Skills and Feats psionics rules, and as I said earlier found the website with the core sleeping imperium setting material on it (including the martial arts rules) but it is not in a pdf format so I couldn't download it (and it did not have the grimm-n-gritty hp and combat rules on it, that I could find). So I still ask, if anyone here on the forums happens to have the Umbragia campaign setting books or any of the other sleeping imperium materials could you shot me a link or email them to me please? (the core books I want to use in the campaign are the Grim-n-Gritty Combat and Hp rules and the Umbraigia magic rules) Richard |

I got a call from a cusin of mine a couple of hours ago now, a few years back I got him into RPing and gaming in general and back when I first introduced him to games and he was RPing on a regualr basis I gave him some copies of various internet resorces I had downloaded. Until we where on the phone I had totaly forgoten about it, but we where talking about a computer proplem I am having right now and from there got to talking abouthte files my wife had deleted. He told me that he still had some of the stuff I had given him a few years ago and shot it to me in an email. While it still isnt everything I lost it is everything that I was really wanting to get back. PDF copies of all four of the Umbragia books, the psionics, martial arts and combat rules by Ken Hood and another older net resorce that I hadn't even thought about in years the original Unlawful Guide to Carnal Knoledge (which I'm going to convert to 3ed ![]() So my personal game crisis is over (for now, still gotta make a BUNCH of models before the first game, gues I should really decide on what the adveture is gonna be...) Richard PS: I HATE search engines!!!! I don't know what I am doing wrong but I tried a google and a yahoo search for all of these phrases: Sleeping Imperiem (Misspelled, why it never turned anything up) Sleeping Imperium Ken Hood Kenith Hood Kenith S Hood Umbragia Realms of Shadow Umbragia Realms of Shadow PDF Jagged Edge Games Shadowlands (origianl title) Skill-n-Feat Martial Arts Skill-n-Feat Martial Arts PDF Skill-n-Feat Psionics Skill-n-Feat Psionics PDF Skill and Feat Martial Arts Skill and Feat Martial Arts PDF Skill and Feat Psionics Skill and Feat Psionics PDF Grim-n-Gritty Hp and Combat and a couple more with spelling variations |

Heh, whereas I love search engines, they are right up there with dictionaries and encyclopedias for great things to get lost in. Even if you don't find what you are looking for the odds are good that you will find something interesting. ![]() I just had fun tracking down the name used for a feat in a recent Spycraft product, Guns or Butter. Things like that are why I love the internet. The Auld Grump |

Try listing http://sleepingimperium.rpghost.com/ at Archive.org, I think I found pretty much the whole site there. ![]() The Auld Grump, search engines are just big friendly puppies, waiting for you to flop their ears around and tell them that they are good dogs.... |
