What does "stored details" mean - that they keep copies of every transaction on file whilst saying that the void eats them after the sale? I have used them and DTRPG solidly for the past three years or so, am I worried - not really - no more then when I usually use my card online (warstore, jewelry for my wife etc). It's a pretty unfortunate situation and I honestly feel bad for them with the sensitivity and controversy of their recent merger. My big concern (if I was in their shoes) would be making it an immediate issue of complete frontpage public transparency rather than selective e-mailing prone to filtering issues. By not doing that they have unknowingly generated an ugly amount of gossip on various forums. Gossip that they don't need. I'm sure they'll work it out but I can't say that I'm sorry that WWG went solo right now. |

Things like this are the reason why use paypal. And I do not even use a credit card for paypal, I transfer money from my bank account to my paypal account. Takes longer, but saves me a lot of worries. |

I find it interesting that The Foundry's reaction to having their credit card info stolen was to immediately post the occurrence not only in their newsletter but also on The Miniatures Page, no attempt to hide it at all. This is what One Bookshelf should have done. The Auld Grump |
