Nintendo has just issued a press release saying they will be replacing all 3.2 million remote straps. Very nice of them! They're almost doubling in thickness, too. |

I tried out the Wii at the mall the other day, and was quickly convinced of two things - 1. You look like an absolute idiot while using the controllers. 2. You don't care, you're having too much fun. Still giving it a pass, I am too much of a computer user to go for it, but it is a lot of fun too play Zelda and swing the controller around, even if you do look like a fool. 
The Auld Grump, if it had been Oblivion that was playable with the Wii then I might not have made my save.... |

The key to looking cool playing the Wii is all in the wrists. You just need to flick the controller. Ok, except for Wii sports. No way to avoid looking goofy with that. Playing the boxing game makes you look like you're having a sissy-fight with your imaginary friend.
