But Why? Why Wii? Why PS3? Why spend a bucket load of money for these things? Beyond the initial price of the base unit you are paying upwards of $70 per game for these things. I guess it's just me. |

Grats Kane. I went past that Toys 'R' Us around midday and there were already about 25 people with tents set up. I'm glad you managed to get a Wii, and with only a short wait too! Impressive. I'm going to wait until the rush calms down, but I'll be picking one up too. Arabin |

CZ, Guitar Hero II is coming to X360 and will have a wireless guitar as well as downloadable songs. Hopefully they'll do musical genre packs so I can get more thrash and less...other. Arabin, I've heard that stock is coming every week...possibly as many as 250,000 units per. Getting one before the end of the year shouldn't be a challenge. |

I had a Pong also. And being local to Atari, I got to play on the first Video Arcade version too (though there were no video arcades and the first one was in a bar). No one had a Mattel Intellivision? Heh. |

Try this one...a Fairchild Video Entertainment System ([url]http://www.classicgaming.com/museum/channelf/[/url). I got it as a 10(?) year old from a yard sale (I never said that I would not buy a console unit, just that I will never pay full retail for one ![]() It was actually a pretty good system with a really funky controller (see reference). |

I still have a functional Fairchild! And an Intellivision...and TI-82 PC...and ColecoVision...and Commodore 64...I'm a bit of a collector. Oh! And a Bentley Computer system! |
