I know there are a few of us WWG Fanatics/Customers in the Seattle area, and we've mentioned meeting up before, so I thought I'd share this. I noticed on that there is another convention in Seattle coming up. It does specify historical miniatures gaming, which I personally don't do, but they might be open to other ideas. If not, we should coordinate something for the new year ourselves. I unfortunately won't be able to make it, despite the fact that is is right around the corner from my new home... because I plan to be moving or frantically packing on the day of this Con. Doesn't mean the rest of you can't go though... The details are listed below, copied straight from TMP: What is it? Drum Beat. The first Mini Con of 2007. Where is it? At the Jefferson Park Community Center in Seattle. When is it? Saturday, January 6th, from 9am till 5PM. Yes, 8 hours of Historical Miniature Gaming in Seattle. There is also plenty of free parking. We just need people to put on games and people to play. There is room for 22 games - well, 18, since 4 have already been spoken for. There are two gaming periods. One is in the morning from 9:00-12:30. The second game period is from 1:30-5:00. We can make eleven 5' X 6' game tables. That is the only size available, so plan accordingly. The game day is located Jefferson Park Community Center on Beacon Hill. The address is 3801 Beacon Ave. S., 98108. Arabin |
