As of 1:47 AM (local time), I have a third child. My son, Johnathan Mayhew Cooper, was born. 7lb 4oz. 19.5". Things most definately did NOT go according to plan. My wife went from thinking she might be in labor, to her water breaking, to me holding the phone for 911 in one hand and Johnathan's head in the other inside of 15 minutes. We're all safe and well at the hospital now...a hospital that just so happens to have wireless internet in the recovery rooms. |

Wow. More excitement in a delivery than one usually would want, to be sure! Congratulations! Zone defense is the only way, now. We had our third only 4 months ago. It was also a scary delivery (but one that ended well). I'm always tired, have big bags under my eyes, and can't seem to focus my mind, or find time to do hobby-type things, but strangely, I'm happy. These are the best times. Enjoy that wee laddie. Great name btw. |

Congratulations! A fast birth is more painful but, from experience, the mum recovers a lot quicker. My best wishes to your good lady, I hope everyone is home soon. |

Congratulations Bob. Big congrats to the rest of the family too. The births of my 2 took a lot longer than that (about 8 or 9 hours each so we had plenty of time to get to the hospital). Now if I remember correctly your life should go something like, awake, awake, sleep for 10 mins, awake... Mr Blackhammer |

Congrats Bob. Hope you are all home, safe and well soon. We'll lower our expectation of your output over the next few weeks. Get some sleep man, it'll be the last you'll have for a while ![]() Frank |

Thats great news! Glad to hear everyone is ok. My last one was two years ago and she came pretty quick (7 hours). She was our fourth. Its great to have live in sweat shop employees! My oldest is 10 and he wants to help cut and glue, build, and have a say in the setup and what pieces to build. Being your third I guess I don't need to mention just how fast they grow! Now being your third you have somthing you never had before. A middle child. I know you have a new baby, but don't do what many parents do and forget that middle child! Its real easy to do if your not careful! My middle child (Bronwyn) still has not forgiven us for having the baby (Enya). That being said I'm very happy for your family! |

Belated Congrats! and I just noticed after catching up on the boards... there seem to be quite a few births here lately, and soon to come. methinks we may all be getting elderly. and to think my eldest brother (5 of us total) is 51. EEP! and here I am just clearing 15 mentally. *wink* |

My kids are 6 and 8 but is seems like only yesterday they were in nappies. (Not that I'd dare tell them that, of course ![]() What is really scary is realising I've been playing D&D for more than a quarter of a century ![]() |
