Sad story Paul. Never lost a pet like that but always have a bit of a moment when either of my cats have got to go to the vets. But of course you realise that i'm going to spend the entire night now searching my WW sets looking for GG. Mr Blackhammer |

Heart-touching story there. Haven't experienced anything like that yet, but one of my cats is getting up there in years. He doesn't see or hear too well anymore, but still is able to move fine. Starting to lose weight though, so I'm a bit worried |

My wife walked out the door with our Amazon on her shoulder...TWICE!!! The first time she flew into a nearby tree and we grabbed her right away..after falling out of the tree. The second time I was at work...she was chased around the neighborhood for two hours. Grabbed as it was almost dark...whew!!! She was a pretty good flyer but got tired fast so she didn't go too far. As for cats...we lost two a few years ago. The first was our old tabby, just stopped eating. Waited too long for the FINAL trip to the vet...seeing them probing for a vein to administer the injection was agony. So dehydrated they were all flat. Died right there with me at her side. What a bummer. Don't wait too long if they stop eating and hide themselves!! |
