I know there's a few forum members that are having quite a bit of success kicking ideas and layouts around with Sketchup, so I figured a heads-up might be in order regarding the 3d contests they regularly sponsor... Winnings consist of a cool shirt, a pair of socks, and bragging rights, but this particular contest might pique the interest of some... Basically, this month's theme is sci-fi, with a three-part contest: mining vessel, mining colony, and space transport. At the very least, this could generate some inspiring layouts and/or kitbashes!!! (not to mention S.U. is saving my ass this semester...t-minus 7 months...) |

Is there any way people going this route could potentially steal our textures? That's my only real concern submitting to this kind of contest. |
