Other than Heroclicks (Indy, DC, Marvel whatever) where can I find some good Superhero/villian style miniatures? I am working on a superhero game but have never seen any myself; or atleast none that would fit within a 1" square. Richard |

That was fast, thaks CCotD. I don't need the rules as I am using my own (or modifing/making I should say) but I can use some of those figures as long as they dont represent any established characters. Again Thanks Richard |

Lance & Laser has a super heroes line. Another line, confusingly called from a British company. And a line of figures this time for Silver Age Sentinels. The Auld Grump |

Grump the Westwind Superfigs are the ones CCotD posted - one in the same. Westwind were/is the company that lunched Superfigs line. I third(?) Superfigs - botht he cool rules and the very cool 4-colour heroes. Lord Abaddon o fWormwood |

DracRTC not sure if you are passing on Heroclicks or not, but if you are becuase they have the big click base that can be pretty nicely solved. Lots of people pop Wizkids stuff off of the click base (one of the best ways is to freeze them, and then slide a Hobby knife carefully under the figure and it will generally pop off pretty easy), and then rebase for use in other game systems. Been doing that for years with first Mage Knight, then HC figures, you but the cheap low power rookie/weak figures that no one wants and you can get a decent number. The thugs, and henchmen from the early lines of HC were great for generics. |

Thanks all for the sites, as for Heroclicks the reason I am passing is that I don't want any preestablished heroes. Don't want to use a Superman figure for example and the only Heroclicks that I have seen are from one comic book or another. Richard |

Back in my days of playing Champions, we use to take the costume design pictures we made and shrink them down to make cardboard heroes that matched our character designs. |

There is a on super hero miniatures by Lance & Laser at Discount Hobby, running at half off. Not my cuppa, but for folks playing supers games they might be nice at about $1.50 a pop. The Auld Grump |

No problem. I hit Discount Hobby on a semi-regular basis. These days as much to see what is coming for Mega Miniatures so that I may order them through my local game store. I saw the sale, and thought that someone might be interested. As a side note - Discount Hobby has flat rate U.S. $7.00 shipping anywhere in the world, so for those folks living in Oz it seems like a viable method. ![]() The Auld Grump |
