Thanks Grump. I picked up the City Works book, and another on creating wilderness settings (both from DriveThru as pdf downloads). They didn't carry the one on dungeon building. But as Meat Loaf says, "Two out of three ain't bad." ![]() Steve |

Glad to help. ![]() Wildscape is another good one, filling the niche that WotC has apparently declined to fill of 'wilderness settings' (WotC has done deserts, arctic, and oceans, but...). Like you I picked that one up as one of my first Drive Thru purchases. I also agree that their search function is next to useless, it is better to go to the manufacturer list on the left side of the screen, since that will take you to a list of that company's lines and products. At least they got rid of the horrible DRM protection that they used to use, there is nothing quite like being unable to access your stuff because either Adobe has updated Acrobat or the computer you are on is not hooked up to the internet. I ended up getting the hardcover of Wildscape (I have used the PDF enough to justify it) and Spellslinger. That silly Warcraft music video just made me want to run a D&D Western... (And I don't even play World of Warcraft...) The Auld Grump |

Gotta admit it was a fun video. It wouldn't play all the way to the end for me - got about 3/4 of the way there and then it stopped. I knew there must be more but I tried several times to get it to play properly and no dice. My son plays WoW, and he laughed when he watched the vid. Nobody in my family enjoys country music but myself, but he did think the "Whiskey for my men, and beer for my horses" line was funny. ![]() |

It should be pointed out that there are a variety of movies available to watch or download, in the comedy category there is even an opening to He-Man remake which gave me a good chuckle, for those wondering the main movie page where this video was snagged from can be . Thanx for the link to this site Grump, there were quite a few I enjoyed, though I mostly stuck to fivestars. The trailer for the Return II looks very well done, can't wait to see if they pull it off. It will be interesting to see if they do a decent job considering they are trying to make a half hour film from a video game ![]() |
