Found this at a local game shop and am seriously considering getting it. Tons of minis and modular dungeons (that could easily be made 3D with some WWG help). Sounds like my kind of game, a next gen HeroQuest! |

Good tactical combat Dungeon Crawl with minor leveling abilities for characters. This is a much upgraded game mechanic from Doom:TBG. Expect a 3-4 hour game time. I'd say it would be fun to use WWG props and such in the game, but honestly they just get in the way(the 1" tiles are tight and some of the miniatures have spread arems, wings, weapons, etc). If you were to maybe make the tiles 1.25" or 1.5" bases then you'd have more room for 3d props and walls. As a matter of fact of you were to use Chunky Dungeons that would be realy cool. ~Floyd ps. I've made custom Character mats that holds all the skill, item and potion cards and counters as well as the character sheet, into one convenient area. Since there are so many counters and bits for this game, we needed some organization. |

Descent rocks just like all of Fantasy Flight Games releases over the past year. I much prefer Descent over Doom, however, because the win ratio is about 50%. |
