One thing I was thinking of while I was building my January challenge was an adventure seed for the build. You can see the build . One note this adventure seed is not endorsed by WWG, nor is it a preview of products to come. Since I have the little orange icon now I thought I would mention that. So here goes the seed: You and your team enter into the daily operations meeting on a up note. The Zareth Mining case finally broke and you caught them red handed moving uranium into Mexico. While the victory is sweet, it is still tempered by the soon to ensue cover up. Such is the life of a an agent of department 7. You move in when the local authorities are incapable of handling the situation. So you enter into the briefing room expecting to begin work on your team's next case. The director, never to disappoint, has left a folder on your briefing table titled, "Mayhem Armory". Ahhh...Mayham, the slang name for Detroit's inner city, the few businesses remaining there have almost all adopted that name for their locality. Heck, the information operators recognize Mayhem as that location. Mayhem is actually nice to work in, since so much goes on there is already a well established network of safe houses and there is even a fully staffed field office. So, what is going on in Mayhem this time that requires department 7's attention. It must be big, since Mayhem has its own field team that spends full time in the city. Your briefing folder contains a number of pictures of a city block of Mayhem, containing a gas station, a store, and some apartments. The store is Mayhem Armory, well that's not to unusual, it is rumored the NRA filed a complaint against Mayhem because they were taking all the guns. So this is the target, reading and looking on you see pictures of two trucks, first a red flat truck that seems to always makes late night deliveries to the store. Well, that's not too unusual, probably drugs or something, but turning the page you see why department 7 is involved, one of the barrels has a biohazard logo on it. Continuing on you see that the shop has underground parking and the green pickup is down there, along with pictures of one of the barrels being loaded into the truck to be taken somewhere. Well it looks like the field office has done some leg work. There are pictures of the interior of the store along with an area of the basement that is fenced off. There is something stacked in the corner that could be 55 gallon drums. Continuing through the folder includes ownership information about the trucks, including a match on the red truck being seen at one of the Zareth mining sites. Well all celebrations must come to an end sometime, it is time to work. Note: Department 7 is part of the SRD from d20 modern. --Chris |

Interesting. Sounds like the start to a zombie apocalypse. |
