Hi All! So my eldest is all hot and bothered for WWII stuff. He wants to fight Nazis and stage battles and such. I showed him the Axis & Allies Miniatures game on WotC's website and he loved the minis. Yeah it is a collectible game, but that is part of the fun, right? Well...not being a game that I play, I did not realize it was no longer in print. I am not looking to get into something that we have to source solely from aftermarket vendors. Any other games or even just WWII minis that are both assembled and prepainted? Thanks! |

I do not know if this is what you are looking for, but Junior General has some WWII scenarios along with other historical eras. They use 2D and 2.5D paper figures with the ablility to use plastic or other media figures in the scenarios. |

Pre assembled is doable either through WWII plastic soldier bins or through the Dust Tactics line (assuming that's still in print). However, I would point toward Bolt Action for 25mm miniatures gaming, and Flames of War for 15mm gaming. They have great sculpts and (mostly) time period accurate miniatures, and I've heard good things about the games that go with them. |

There is the Rocco Minitanks line of plastic HO scale tanks of varied units and times. How hard they are to find now I don't know. Realtively inexpensive and the few pieces in each package snap together quickly. |
