I finished reading the latest book in Ben Aaronovitch's PC Grant series.
The book had one of those lines, the ones that you know that you will be using - "'There's weird s**t', I said. 'And we deal with the weird s**t, but normally it turns out that there is a perfectly rational explanation for it' Which is often that a wizard did it."
That, right there, sums up any modern fantasy game.
A good, solid series - this one doesn't so much end as just stop, leaving a feeling that this book is the calm before the storm.
