I have a laptop with a wireless modem, a wireless router, and a hi-def tv that can plug into my router. Is there a way I can send my laptop screen to my tv via the wireless stuff? I am totally not a tech guy. Thank you for any and all responses. |

As joydyhee indicated, it depends on your TV. For the basic steps: |

I have been meaning to try and set up my wireless BluRay player (DMP-BDT220 by Panasonic) to wirelessly stream video from my PC in the other room. I am fairly certain it can be done. I just haven't spent the time yet. Let us know how your set up turns out. |

My TV isn't sophisticated enough to do what I want... I need to just run a monitor cable from my laptop to the tv. Not perfect, but it will do. |

I use a Western Digital WD TV Live upstairs and down. Its supports Ethernet or wireless. My file server uses a program called Servio. http://serviio.org/ I can also stream video to my iPhone and my iPad. It possible to do this with file sharing, however, unless your windows\linux foo is off the charts, don't try. Use Servio. |

Many other devices (android related) in this field don't really stream video from another PC. So keep a close eye if you're contemplating buying something. |
