for the first time in a long while I am likely to be picking up stuff for a GM that isn't me! Super Genius/Rogue Genius and Rite Publishing are high on the list - I am getting her the Haunts books from Rite Publishing for a start. Rogue Genius - 35% off until March 11th. Rite Publishing - Rite Publishing only does a sale this big on everything twice a year, and this time out we are even including all our print products! If a PDF is normally $3.00 or less it is $0.99. If a PDF is nomally $5.00-$3.01 it is $1.99. If a PDF is normally $9.00-$5.01 it is $2.99 If a PDF is normally more than $9.00 it is 30% off. All Print products are $30% off! Including products like Lords of Gossamer & Shadow (Diceless), The Demolished Ones (FATE) & The Secrets of Adventuring (PFRPG). Until March 11th. What other companies are celebrating GMs this year? The Auld Grump - me, taking this opportunity to give the GM encounters that I want to see? Maaayyybeee? |

Purple Duck and 4 Winds have a 30% off sale - and a free book. The list of GM's Day Goodies on sale for this week om . Radiance House is also having a - and has Secrets of Pact Magic and Pact Magic Unleashed I - a Pathfinder conversion of the Pact Magic rules from Tome of Magic. (I consider this an alternate magic system, rather than one to be used in conjunction with standard Pathfinder magic - Pact Magic has a heck of a lot of flavor, and is based on Goetic magic.) I am pretty sure that Pact Magic Unleased is the same as Secrets of Pact Magic, only chopped up into smaller books. (Secrets is about 330 pages, Unleashed is about 80 pages - I bought Secrets, so I am only guessing about Unleashed.) Like RPGNow is having a GM's Day sale (and like RPGNow the sale is going on for a full week). D20PFSRD has become my main PDF point of sale - I like the site that the store supports, so they get my money. I highly recommend The Laundry from Cubicle 7 - if you have read any of The Laundry Files novels by Charles Stross then you already know why. (Think 'British bureaucracy meets Call of Cthulhu'.) I just added to my collection - a steampunk setting for Pathfinder. My evil plan is to combine the tech from this game with the Goetic magic of Secrets of Pact Magic, and stirring in some horror. My steampunk games have been light and fluffy of late - time to put some soot into the steam.... The Auld Grump |

Got it, thanks. I think I'll go ahead. I'm on the fence because I don't have a specific reason to get it. But I like this type of magic, and will want to incorporate it into a future campaign. Congratulations on your anniversary! Steve |
