I am going through my collection right now, looking at the orcs....
I will be honest - my favorite orcs have suffered from scale creep. They are the old 1970s and early 1980s era Ral Partha orcs - here's one pictured on Etsy:
They were not the first orcs that I ever saw or had - both Heritage and Minifigs had orcs before Ral Partha even existed. (Meier started as a sculptor for Heritage.) Savage looking, and sometimes swinging free in the breeze.
Now a trifle on the small side.
Now days... more of a toss up.
For characters I like the Reaper models - though they can be a bit cartoony:
For standard, run of the mill orcs, I have a wide choice -
I like the Mantic orcs:
A businesslike group of killers. Not a lot of frills. I have a boatload of them, and they have become my standard orc mooks.
And I like the brutal appearance of the GW orcs:

Again, I have a large number of the plastics, and use them as orcs in RPGs.
(Sadly, I by and large hate the GW heroes and monsters for the orcs.
