I was offline during the Christmas days - spending time out of town with family - but I hope everyone had a wonderful time being with the loved ones and friends that they could. And here's wishing the best new times in the brand-spanking-new (and squeaky-clean) New Year! -Dennis Appell aka greypilgrim |

Anyone have any cardstock (or RPG/Wargame hobby) resolutions that they made/are already working on? |

Besides finishing the interior forh Thann-Kor Keep, I've resolved to finish: - my 2x Lightning Guns, - my white Ebbles Heavy Shuttle with interior flightdeck and bird's-eye access to the cargo deck, Build: - at least one more of the Heavy Shuttles (probably the rusty-brown Ecostar) [this and the white w/interior version will join the completed green Rescue-2], - at least 2 Traveller RPG spaceships, starting with the 100-t Scout/Courier and the 400-t Subsidized Merchant. Two huge projects I'd *like* to do is: a) all 15x different decks for the Traveller Ahzanti High Lightning Cruiser (each roughly 42x23 inches area); multiply useful not only for the ship itself, but in game canon several of the retired vessels were cut into sections and sold as scrap -many of which were then used as basecamp structures, b) the humongous 10,000-t King Richard luxury liner (FASA product for Traveller) 9 decks and total max length of 95 inches (!) Can we say shooting for the Moon? |

A Belated Holiday wish to all of you. Already started the New Years off right... Bought all the Terraclips Malifaux sets and Dungeon Rise.... (though I cannot find Buildings of Malifaux...so if anyone has one they want to sell please PM me!) So far I've built all 3 Dungeon Rise sets. Working on Streets this weekend. Looking forward to gaming on these terrain sets. I've also revisited my most favorite Robot/Vehicle card modeler Ebbles over at Ganet Models and have built 200% versions of Type 18, Murphy, Gyrfalcon and I am finishing up the Jotun and a 300% Ares Vulcan. Woot! Love this stuff... and Bigger is better! ~Will |

@ Zenguy - both follwing classic Traveller deckplans - RE: Scout: looking at WWG Firstlight for interior; RE: Merchant: using WWG Hellworks3 Pravatis (nice walls as opposed to the Cthulhu type) set to the classic plans. [already GIMPing walls to foldover back-to-back for cargo deck] |

...Haven't decided - but may be leaning back to First Light exteriors. The cargo and engineering deck is using the Retro's Containment Room flooring and 3x5 Room metal walls. Looking at using 'cleaner' main set walls; haven't decided on the decking. Probably use a modification of the Chris Roe's Dropship's engine intake baffles texture for the Merchant's gas scoops. [And the keel is laid: decking is glued to foamcore for the lower deck! Foamcore no cut to shape yet. WIll have to start a new WIP thread to stop highjacking this one... ] |
