Well, Bones II will happen in a few months... how about some empty speculation?! Some are easy - I think that the mounted models that didn't make it in Bones I will be near the beginning, perhaps in the first 30 (if they use the same approach this time). Frost Giant mooks - we already have the characters, bring on the brutes! (They used to be in the P-65 lead material, but are now... gone....) CAV - we have seen hints already.... Giant mecha towering over 6mm infantry is quite likely. We saw pictures of them from PAX, about a year ago. Some are more ephemeral guesses - Stormwing Cinder Blight Fang And one that I can only see happening as a capstone - But I think that this is likely as a capstone. ![]() The Auld Grump |

I agree with your speculations. CAV seems definite. Warlord seems like a smart choice for them (and a PDF or hardcopy rule book too). I will also add that I anticipate a large number of animals (wolves, horses, large cats, etc.) seem like a good bet. I would love to see: A sampling of mouslings. I own none, but am open to getting some in stretch goals and whatnot. More giants. All kinds. Hill Giants especially. Bathalians. Dinosaurs. Kraken Other Special Editions but in Bones More Pirates! More Big Dragons! Of course, new stuff too. |

In addition to the above, I think we may see a few expansions into areas that Reaper hasn't traditionally done anything with - primarily 25mm scale Vehicles. I wouldn't be surprised to see a 25mm scale CAV model in the mix as one of the 'peaks' (a la the Big Three from KS I), and perhaps 2-3 new tanks or transports to take advantage of the strengths of the Bones material (though what, specifically, we'll see is up in the air). After that... Well, there's a ton I'd love to see, and I'm definitely all in once it goes live. |

I also think there is a decent chance that we see the sculpts that were delayed and didn't make the cut. I believe there were four or so of those. |

There were plenty of new sculpts in the kickstarter, I would anticipate more of the same, in that regard. For a real clue, though, Reaper is pretty good about listening in on the "wishlist" threads on their forum. |

They were able to get some Pathfinder licensed minis in the first one, so I don't think SW is out of the picture. I like all the suggestions. I'm really hoping for bathalians -- they've become my main campaign bad guys and I'd love to have a swarm. Steve |

Man, I wish I hadn't missed the first one... all those mini's..... ![]() Oh well, I'll be watching out for the next one. I personally would love to see all the sculpts by Jason Wiebe be done via Bones. He has some really excellent sculpts and usually doesn't get recognized like other sculptors. But the Chronoscope line as a whole, done it plastic would make me drool.... ![]() I have not played CAV, but would definitely get into it because the purposely chose N scale for the size so that you can get N scale terrain and use it. Now that was forward thinking. oh and bugbears, all bugbears should be done via Bones..... (just cause I'm.... a fan) |
